We are seeking a disciplined and detail-oriented Data Collection Officer to support field data collection activities across our project locations. You will play a key role in gathering accurate information, engaging farmers and other stakeholders, and ensuring reliable data for informed decision-making. Working closely with field teams, farmers, customers, and other stakeholders, you will help drive effective data collection, accurate reporting, and timely submission of field information across multiple project locations.Requirements
• B.Sc. or HND in Data Management, Statistics, Agriculture, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field. • Experience in field data collection, surveys, market research, or stakeholder engagement is an advantage. • Proficiency in digital data collection tools, smartphones, and basic applications such as Excel and Google Sheets. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and respondent engagement skills. • Excellent attention to detail, data accuracy, and recordkeeping. • Strong field monitoring, reporting, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently across assigned field locations. • Willingness to travel regularly and meet set performance targets. • High levels of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality in handling data.What We Offer

• Conduct field visits to collect data from farmers, customers, and agricultural stakeholders. • Administer surveys, questionnaires, and interviews to gather accurate information. • Engage respondents professionally to achieve assigned data collection targets. • Capture and submit data using smartphones, digital forms, and approved tools. • Verify records for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. • Maintain organised records and submit timely field reports. • Identify data gaps and field challenges, recommending practical solutions. • Support farmer registration, stakeholder mapping, market research, and agricultural monitoring. • Collaborate with operations and field teams to ensure reliable data collection and reporting across project locations.
