Full Job Description: Junior Finance Officer
Location: Kaduna, Nigeria Reports to: Finance & Admin Lead Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive, based on experience Deadline: July 20th, 2025About the Role
We’re seeking a smart, organized, and proactive Junior Finance Officer to support our growing operations. You’ll play a key role in day-to-day bookkeeping, expense tracking, and ensuring financial discipline across departments. This is a great opportunity for a finance graduate or early-stage professional passionate about agriculture and sustainability.Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions • Assist with account reconciliations and bank statement reviews • Track invoices, receipts, and vendor payments • Support budget preparation and financial reporting • Monitor field-related expenditures and flag anomalies • Assist with petty cash management and documentation • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and controls • Liaise with procurement and field teams to align spendingRequirements
• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 0–2 years’ work experience in a finance/admin/accounting role • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus • Strong attention to detail and integrity with numbers • Ability to work independently and within a small, mission-driven team • Willingness to learn and grow with the companyWhat We Offer
